The start of my YLEO journey was when I found an Instagram who sold essential oils and the Premium Starter Kit. I was excited for it be had no budget to get a Premium Starter Kit. Then I found a few online shops that offers homemade blends made from Essential Oils and raw oils and butter. I was only partly satisfied with the many products I bought from these handmade blends.
So I've decided I need to make my own. I can control what I use and how much. I later learned that is it always more recommendable to layer the oils than to make a blend, unless it is a specific blend from YL. Diluting our Essential Oils with a carrier oil like virgin coconut oil (vco), grapeseed oil, olive oil, jojoba oil and putting them in a roll-on bottle or glass jars is very helpful! I've abused this all the time mainly because I use the oils for my daughter who's still so young, PLUS a sensitive skin. But what I have just learned was that these dilution or blends made by myself can only last until it becomes rancid on its own. What would work and lasts longer is by using the V-6 Vegetable Oil sold as part of a Young Living product - specially formulated because of the reason I just mentioned. So smell your homemade blends, see if its still 'there'.I was a member of a different YL base and I felt like it would really help if I had a support group. So I found someone who was part of a YL team based from Singapore whose team is active and has that chat group where we can ask and tell any time of the day!
